I’ve used self-tanners for 4 years. Lately I’ve been using “Play It Safe” by Bath & Body Works on my body and Coppertone Gradual Tan for Face. They go well together and both give a nice natural tan. As long as you get the correct on for your complexion(light, medium or dark) you shouldnt have a problem getting orange. L’Oreal Sublime bronze is good too. Make sure you rub it in good and you wont have streaks!
Tips to get a good self-tan….
Exfoliate–shave your legs and use a scrub (St. Ives Apricot Scrub is good and cheap) on elbows, face, etc.
Start with legs and arms and then do torso and face. That way you dont get stripes on your stomach from bending over.
WASH YOUR HANDS…you they dont come out colored! When you’re done with your face…which I always do last…take a cotton ball and put a dab of tanner on it and rub carefully on the tops of your hands not putting too much on knuckles since they tend to get dark.
Let everything dry good and get dressed.
Do at night…that way you get in bed (after you’re good and dry) and you wont worry about something happening to the tan…like getting wet and then you have to start over!
