Bobby Garrison

I use Designer Skin: Spellbound

How does a dual bronzer work?
Dual bronzers provide bronze gratification from immediate cosmetic bronzers such as caramel and walnut extract as well as from DHA sunless tanning agents, which oxidize over a few hours with the natural proteins in the skin to develop even deeper, darker results. It is recommended waiting at least 4 hours after tanning with any bronzer to ensure results.

How do I explain “bronzers” to a customer who is hesitant because they are afraid of turning “orange”?
Unlike Designer Skin products, there are some bronzers in the marketplace that contain too high a percentage of DHA, or even contain low quality bronzing agents that produce unnatural and unattractive tanning results. Reassure your customer that Designer Skin bronzers are “low-maintenance”, meaning they utilize the purest quality of DHA in conjunction with the perfect amount of bronzing agents to enhance the natural level of tan without staining or streaking or developing into an “unnatural” orange color.

Inez Pederson

It depends on which brands your salon sells! Australian Gold and Swedish Beauty sell a lot of inexpensive lotions that are great! If you can find the Designer Skin line, those lotions are good (and fun looking) but moderatly priced. Although it is highly frowned upon in the tanning industry, you can also find lotions online for about half the price you would pay at the salon. The salon will tell you buying lotions online is bad (trust me we will, I manage a salon), I personally don't see anything wrong with it. I know how expensive they can be! BUT: You get what you pay for! Also, try something with a bronzer! Three bronzers and higher will get the best results! Happy Tanning!

Shawn Breckenridge

Australian Gold has GREAT indoor tanning lotions. my favorite affordable one is Iced Cream. I use their products for both sun bathing, and tanning beds. I have been using them for years, and they help tan fast, and stay looking natural. I hope this helps! good luck!

Curtis Perri

I would just get a professional spray tan...It is very harmful to go into the tanning beds...lots of rays...and causes premature aging of the skin and cancer...Please double think this...there are tons of people getting skin cancer.
